Boundries of Mobility

Under the mobility background, our geographic boundaries don’t accurately describe the different countries people distribution. The mobility movements among us reshape the original geographic borderlines to a new world map.
The installation allows the audience to observe how their movements in the exhibition space change the displacement on the 3D printer. The movements potentially represent the how immigrants move in the world using the glass with a world map.
The motivation behind the installation is the feeling that the mobility changes my life as an international student. At the same time, the mobility is happening worldwide which one of the incentives that motivates the society to move forward.
